第九天：我们在市场买东西！；Day 9: Let’s buy stuff at the market!

在中文课，我们读了一个杭州的故事；很有意思。我们在营七人间吃午饭；大家觉得餐馆很酷！然后，我们去新天地探索。以前，新天地是一个胡同。我们在这儿玩一个游戏。我们去东太路市场。我买了一条筷子。有的人买了一个扇子。今天的晚饭是很地道的上海菜。全部的菜很甜的，特别是鱼！

明天我们会去杭州！我们都很兴奋！

In Chinese class, we read a story set in Hangzhou; it was very interesting. We went to lunch at a restaurant called “7 People”; everyone thought it was very cool! Then we went to explore an area called Xintiandi [literally translates to the New Heaven and Earth]. It used to be an old section of lanes before. We played a team building game here. We then went to Dong Tai Road Market. I bought another pair of chopsticks. Some people bought [decorative] fans. Tonight’s dinner was very authentic Shanghai cuisine. All of the dishes were very sweet, especially the fish!

Tomorrow, we are going to Hangzhou [for the day]! We are all very excited!
